Hello, everyone. I am Conrad - one of Ottawa's most experienced tour guides (over 500 tours with TBL), certainly Ottawa's most reviewed guide. As a home-town boy who has lived here for over 60 years, I can say I am known for clear and correct knowledge of the history of Ottawa and environs. My family has roots here going back over 120 years. Since graduating from the University of Ottawa (BA Hon, History, '78) I have been giving tours for groups, individuals, and for travel companies. We decided to visit Parc Omega on this tour and it is a wonderful place to see the wildlife of the area. The bears were our favourite, closely followed by feeding the deer carrots through the car windows. Then a pass through of Gatineau Park on the way back to Ottawa . Recommend this itinerary.

Conrad is an excellent guide. Over the 3 hours, we covered the city, learning a great deal, both historical and current. We were both educated and entertained. Conrad had a real depth of knowledge, able to answer our many questions. Before the tour, Conrad asked what sites we wanted to see. We mentioned to Arboretum, and he included this. Conrad clearly knows his stuff! This was a great introduction to the city with lots of historical facts. He gave us tips on other things to do and some good places to eat. I would definitely recommend doing this tour.
