Windshield Tour of Ottawa, Canada's Capital

This is by far my most popular tour. There is a lot to see and do in the National Capital Region. If you have never been to Ottawa, you may be a bit overwhelmed by the choices, but I can do the picking and choosing for you to ensure you get the most comprehensive tour in the time you have available. I can show you the city by car (mine or yours). If you wish to see museums, we have more per capita than any other city in Canada. Are you a foodie? Let me introduce you to our famous BeaverTails, or guide you to a wonderful selection of restaurants. And don't forget the poutine, with squeaky cheese curds! The tour is yours, and I am here to ensure it is exactly what it is you want of it.

- We start at your hotel, usually in the downtown core. We could also start at another pickup point such as the dock or the airport. - We will visit Parliament Hill and its environs, including the National War Memorial. - Then we will go to Rockliffe via the Ceremonial Route. - We will see official government residences, Rideau Hall, the enclave of Rockliffe Park, the parkways. - Then I will take you to the Experimental Farm with its Arboretum and ornamental gardens. - We will make a side trip to the Hull sector of Gatineau, our neighbouring city on the north side of the Ottawa River. - Finally, we will go back to your hotel. (Drop off can be arranged to wherever you wish) Due to the long term restoration project at Parliament Hill, the Changing of the Guard ceremony has been put on hold for the next couple of years. But we still have skating on the Canal during Winterlude. My tours can be adjusted to take advantage of these events.
