Hello, everyone. I am Conrad - one of Ottawa's most experienced tour guides (over 500 tours with TBL), certainly Ottawa's most reviewed guide. As a home-town boy who has lived here for over 60 years, I can say I am known for clear and correct knowledge of the history of Ottawa and environs. My family has roots here going back over 120 years. Since graduating from the University of Ottawa (BA Hon, History, '78) I have been giving tours for groups, individuals, and for travel companies. Whether you want a small group short walking tour of the downtown area, a car tour, or a full day on a bus, I can give you the most comprehensive, entertaining tour of your entire holiday. My calendar may show the whole day as open, but that is deliberate, allowing you to choose a start time in the morning or afternoon. Overview of your Ottawa tour

Do you want a tour tomorrow? Most of my tours are booked weeks, even months in advance. But I can do tours on short notice. Check my "availability" section to confirm that I am indeed available, then send a quick message we can set something up. I will do my best to accommodate you. The folks at ToursByLocals can contact me by phone to verify my availability for very short notice, such as 12 hours. They will also handle all of the business end, leaving me to just show up and give you your tour. This tour will encompass all of the highlights of the nation's capital as described in my other tours. We will see as much as your time allows. The start time is flexible. Whatever is best for you. This can be a walking tour or driving. The walking is best, as we get the full story of the downtown core, but it is two hours. If you want the walking tour, it would be best for you to book the short version tour. Driving will take us further afield and will be 3 hours long.

The must see things are: -Parliament Hill -Rideau Hall -Embassy Row -Rockliffe Park, and the best photo op locations ever. Itinerary will vary depending on how much time you have and if you want to go outside of the city.
