Hello, everyone. I am Conrad - one of Ottawa's most experienced tour guides (over 500 tours with TBL), certainly Ottawa's most reviewed guide. As a home-town boy who has lived here for over 60 years, I can say I am known for clear and correct knowledge of the history of Ottawa and environs. This tour takes us to places outside the city limits. It could be to Parc Omega in Quebec, or the Diefenbunker in Carp, the Thousand Islands, Old Fort Henry, or Upper Canada Village. We will see all of the highlights of your chosen destination in the comfort of my SUV or your vehicle. There may be some walking, such as at Upper Canada Village. This tour can be tailored to your requests. If you are a hiker, I can take you to a drop off point for your hike on one of our highly rated trails, then I will pick you up when you are done. We decided to visit Parc Omega on this tour and it is a wonderful place to see the wildlife of the area. The bears were our favourite, closely followed by feeding the deer carrots through the car windows. Then a pass through of Gatineau Park on the way back to Ottawa . Recommend this itinerary.
We went to Parc Omega and had a fabulous time in the park. He added a stop at Chateau Montebello and the Gatineau park and lookouts. Amazing day in the countryside around Ottawa. Excellent and enjoyable guide.

Our 1 day tour in Ottawa with Conrad was excellent. Conrad is very knowledgeable about history and also current events in Ottawa and Canada, and is happy to share his knowledge. He was a great tour guide and I would recommend him to others and hire him again if I were returning to Ottawa again. We are a party of 6, and we all felt that Conrad and Francine did an excellent job and were both well worth the price of the tours.
Not only very knowledgeable about all the destination in the tour, we had a really great time learning all the history and the back story of ALL the attractions! Some other traveler also asked to join and to listen to the story he told us! He is also very flexible and even helped us prepare for the next trip! I'm highly recommend this tour and Conrad, especially if you only one day and you want to know about Ottawa as much as you can!
Conrad was a gem of a guide. He gave us a fine tour of the city and of the Gatineau, Quebec including the beautiful park area. He answered all our questions and gave us a full day's worth of touring.
