Hi there! Welcome to delightful Dalmatia. Is there anything better than doing a job you absolutely love? For me, there's just one. Doing a job I love and equally sharing my energy and passion. In a nutshell - I'm a true local, in love with Split and Dalmatia. I'm a keen foodie, wining and dining, exploring the rich Dalmatian cuisine. Movies, art, cultural heritage and languages all play a strong role in my life. When I'm not out-and-about passionately sharing my perspective with visitors, you'll often find me bargaining for the best deal at the famous fish market, delving into a good book, or doing what every local does best - meeting friends for a good chat over coffee in the sunshine! Over my 18-year-long career in the tourism industry, one of the great things about what I do - is always managing to hit the right balance! The balance between hitting the sweet spot among guests who really want to delve deep into the historical culture, understand what makes Dalmatia tick today, or gently absorb the sights and flavours. Maybe even a delightful healthy mix. Having lived abroad in the UK and as a keen traveller, when I'm in an entirely new place I need a comprehensive feel-good tour experience. An experience full of genuine smiles and laughs - all at my own pace. More importantly - from someone who knows their stuff! It's as much about the small attention to detail as it is exploring wonderful landmarks on foot. Personally crafted tailor-made itineraries. The intriguing Island anecdotes. The true mindset and lifestyle of the locals. The way people lived then and now. We had a wonderful lovely time with Jelena in Split. She is so knowledgeable about the history of Split that we were enthralled. We definitely will be back to Split for a longer vacation. . We adored Jelena and hope to see her again…. I have never had a tour I enjoyed quite so much!

We've travelled extensively and used tours by locals several times. Jelena Vrancic is the best guide we've ever had. She is knowledgeable, fun and extremely helpful. At the end of the tour she made several recommendations for restaurants & activities for several Croatian cities we planned to visit. She really is the best of the best!
Jelena was so accommondating with our schedule. The tour and back round history of Split was fantastic. Because we had to push our tour to late in the afternoon we invited her to dinner and she took us to a restaurant we would never had found on our own. Spending the time with her was precious as you learn so much about the place you are visiting from a LOCAL. Thank you! C.
Jelena is hands down the best local guide I have had over many years and tours. She is cultured, speaks perfect English, fun, and knows all the best spots. Her background as a teacher explains her patience and joy in sharing knowledge. We did a history and wine tour and at the end of the tour she took us to an amazing wine cafe where we were given an array of delicious foods along with fantastic wines. Jelena also recommended a place for dinner and it was our best meal of the trip.

This is a walking tour. If you are visiting Split on a cruise ship, I can, for an extra cost, arrange a transfer in a car or rickshaw to the Old Town. However, the cruise ships dock only 10-minute walk away from the Old Town/Diocletian's Palace, and unless you have mobility issues, walking is the easiest.
