Bonnie was a great tour guide! She was very knowledgeable and made our day very interesting. We appreciated how quickly she anticipated our “speed” and adjusted accordingly. Bonnie was very organized and the tour flowed smoothlessly.

Hi there! I was born and raised in Savannah and have always felt a deep love for my hometown and privileged to have been born in such a beautiful place. When I was a kid, my family lived in a turn of the century Queen Anne Revival house in an old part of the city, so History always had a very tangible presence in my life. It has never been just words on a page or a class at school- it was the space in which I lived. My dad, who was also born here, loved history as well- local history especially- and taught me all kinds of things growing up. He would take me out to Fort Pulaski and tell me about the Civil War; he would walk me around Colonial Park Cemetery and tell me about the gruesome Yellow Fever epidemic of 1820; it was never boring for me and I don't want it to be boring for you either. On my tours, I hope to leave you with the same love for Savannah and the South that I feel. Aside from educating you about the city's past, I want to show you where to look in the present for the most beautiful things, the best food, and the most fun. I am happy to serve as your personal concierge while you're in town and connect you with all the local fun and games that get obscured by flashier events with a bigger advertising budget. I have been involved in community theatre here since I was 9 years old and always keep abreast of what our local troupes are doing. I am also friends with several musicians in town and can help you figure out where to enjoy the best live music. I can help you pick which museums to go to, give you directions to outlying attractions, and do whatever it takes to make sure you get to experience Savannah beyond what you see in the glossy travel brochures. I have been a tour guide here for 21 years, been doing walking tours for 20 of those. Trust me, on foot is the best way to see Savannah. I have been conducting small, private tours for 13 years and am happy to let you go at your own pace, linger where you like, and rest whenever you need to. Wherever you come from, leave it behind and dive "behind the moss curtain" with me. Business Tax Certificate issued by the City of Savannah Majored in History and minored in Gender and Women's Studies at Armstrong Atlantic State University Been a tour guide for 19 years I am not licensed to drive a tour vehicle. I have access to public historical spaces, but not private homes or house museums. All of my tours take place within the Landmark Historic District.

Bonnie was the perfect guide, extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and humorous. We learned so much about the history and architecture of the city. The tour was nicely paced. She pointed out house tours, museums, cafes, sweet shops, and restaurants that she recommended for our exploration on our own. You would be lucky to have Bonnie as your guide.
Bonnie knew so much about Savannah, about Georgia, about the Civil and Revolutionary Wars, you name it. She gave us a very in depth tour which we thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommend.
Bonnie is an amazing tour guide. We couldn't believe how much she knows about everything in Savannah. We highly recommend her.
My tour with Bonnie was fantastic. Bonnie is super knowledgeable on all things Savannah and Georgia. The tour is all walking so make sure you’re prepared for that, even though the walking is very easy on mostly flat streets. Bonnie was friendly and made me feel very comfortable throughout the tour. Highly recommend this tour with Bonnie.
Bonnie was superb as our tour guide of Savannah. She was so well prepared and knowledgeable about the city and surrounding areas. It was a walking tour which was even better so we could see the city up close. She was extremely pleasant, and we never felt rushed or that we were going to miss something. She met all of our expectations and then some. I would highly recommend Bonnie to anyone wanting to take a tour of Savannah. She will make it well worth your time.
We'll begin our tour at your hotel or at another suitable location if you are not staying in the Historic District. What interests you and what you want to see will decide where we go and how long we spend there. You have the option of stopping for a bite to eat and touring two different house museums, though you will have to pay the price of admission. We can end our day back at your hotel or somewhere else entirely. Because this tour is on foot, bad weather may limit our options or necessitate rescheduling.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
We will be mostly on foot. If it becomes necessary, we could flag down a pedicab (which is inexpensive) or hop on the city's fare-free DOT shuttle.
