I am an enthusiastic history buff and storyteller. From a young age my parents instilled in me the importance of our connection to the shared human experience, and this lifelong lesson has grown into a passion and a calling. My other 2 great passions are people and this beautiful city I call home! Originally visiting Savannah on my honeymoon over 10 years ago, my husband and I fell in love with the charm and stately grandeur felt throughout the historic district. Almost six years ago we followed our hearts to a beautiful little spot right downtown. I work, live and play in the most incredible city in the world. Savannah is a hauntingly beautiful city where the past comes alive and mingles with the present. Coming from an educational background in history and a professional background in hospitality, I cannot wait to share the stories and secrets with you that make the Hostess City of the South so unforgettable! Locally licensed to give walking tours in Savannah, GA. I have been giving walking tours in Savannah for 1 year. As our experience is an outdoor walking tour, severe weather such as lightning or strong winds may lead to rescheduling the tour. Please note I am not registered with the city to give tours by vehicle, only by foot.

Join me for a stroll down Bull Street, the spine of Savannah. Experience the Hostess City of the South through the lens of her incredible people, unforgettable stories, and unmatched beauty. Our journey will meander through 5 squares of Spanish moss covered live oaks, past impeccably restored architecture, and almost 300 years of history. Our city and our story were created out of a melting pot of communities coming together to create a better future. Our city began as a singular vision of an egalitarian utopia, a place for the worthy poor to reestablish their lives and their dignity, born in the mind of Gen. James Edward Oglethorpe. From our founding citizens (Gen. Oglethorpe, Mico Tomochichi, and Mary Musgrove) to Revolutionary War heroes like Gen. Casimir Pulaski; from 19th century visionaries such as Susie King Taylor to 20th century influencers like Clermont Huger Lee, see why Savannah is a city like no other. I invite you to fall in love with her like I did, one square at a time.
• Our journey will begin in the most recently renamed square in our Historic Landmark District- Taylor Square! We will move over to Monterrey Square, where the past meets the present. Though we will move chronologically through Savannah's history, our tour begins in the newer part of the Historic Landmark District. • We will pass Gen. Sherman's Savannah residence in Madison Square, the second oldest theater in the U. S. in Chippewa Square, the resting place for one of our founding fathers in Wright Square, and end in Savannah's oldest established square, Johnson Square. Our tour ends conveniently near City Market and River St. • While Savannah is gorgeous in the rain, more severe weather may impact our tour. Severe weather includes lightning in the area and severe weather alerted storms. If we are already on tour, I know some fabulous coffee shops we can duck into along the way until the storm passes. Should the severe weather inhibit us from the beginning, we can reschedule to a safer time.

We will experience Savannah the best way possible-by foot! Though our route covers approximately 1 mile, I am in constant search of seating and shade. We move at a leisurely pace (this is the South, we are never in a hurry!) and the Historic Landmark District is flat in nature.
Airport: ,Cruise: ,ByGuide: Our tour will begin in the center of Taylor Square, at the intersection of Abercorn St and Gordon St. There is limited free neighborhood parking as well as paid street parking in this area. There is also a bus stop and a paid trolley stop at this square. If you are in the Historic Landmark District, the start point is walkable. I will meet you in the center of the square, look for the blonde with the baseball cap and bright orange lanyard!
