From our founding citizens (Gen. Oglethorpe, Mico Tomochichi, and Mary Musgrove) to Revolutionary War heroes like Gen. Casimir Pulaski; from 19th century visionaries such as Susie King Taylor to 20th century influencers like Jim Williams, see why Savannah is a city like no other. • Our journey will begin at your location of choice within the Historic Landmark District. We will experience some of Savannah's most iconic squares, historic monuments, and architectural wonders, stopping mid tour for a fantastic lunch from one of Savannah's delicious eateries. • We will pass by gorgeous buildings designed by famed architects such as John Norris or William Gibbons Preston, explore Savannah's stunning squares and impressive monuments, and hear stories of her people and events that changed the course of our local and national history. • While Savannah is gorgeous in the rain, more severe weather may impact our tour. Severe weather includes lightning in the area and severe weather alerted storms. If we are already on tour, I know some fabulous coffee shops we can duck into along the way until the storm passes. Should the severe weather inhibit us from the beginning, we can reschedule to a safer time.
