On this 2-hour tour of Savannah's Historic District, we will take the quieter side streets and stop often to take in the views, marvel at and photograph the amazing architectural treasures, and immerse ourselves in a beautiful urban forest. This tour covers an area from the Savannah River to Forsyth Park—the world-renowned Oglethorpe Plan of Savannah that dates back to our founding—with its bike-friendly design of regularly-placed public squares. We create our own breeze as we explore the history as well as the modern vibe, and abundant green spaces that makeup Savannah's vibrant downtown. Bring your camera for countless photo opportunities, including portraits with your bikes against some awesome backdrops! Sights include the waterfront, Forsyth Park and its famous fountain, architecture from antebellum to modern, live oaks draped with Spanish moss, art and history museums, monuments, and the places where prominent citizens of the past and present mix and mingle, a wide array of topics are possible!
My wife and I just finished a 2-hour private bike tour with the owner Will. It was one of the best tours I've done in years and we are fortunate to have done them around the world. We just finished the historic Savannah bicycle tour, and it was, without a doubt, the highlight of our trip! Our guide, Will led us effortlessly through the famous squares and stunning historic districts, pointing out architectural details and sharing fascinating, often little-known, stories about the city's past. He didn't just rattle off dates; he brought the history to life with humor and engaging anecdotes. The pace was relaxed and comfortable, making it easy for everyone in our group to keep up and fully soak in the beauty of the Spanish moss, oak trees, and antebellum architecture. We felt completely safe biking through the streets, thanks to his expert navigation. Skip the crowded bus tours—this is the real deal! Thank you Will!
Will is a great tour guide. He made the tour interesting by providing enough information to help us understand the history of the area without overloading us with information. We would certainly hire him again.
Will was our tour guide and he was phenomenal! He not only gave a detailed tour, but was able to enthusiastically answer all of the questions we threw his way. You could tell from the way that he explained the history that it was his passion. Touring Savannah on bikes was very enjoyable because it allowed us to stop and talk at all of our stops along the way. Savannah felt very safe on bike as well due to the slow one-way traffic around the historic squares. Highly recommend!
Great way to see a lot of the town in a short time without being crammed in a trolley. Commentary was interesting. Pace was more than adequate.

History, architecture, scenery, and the modern vibe of Savannah are the main subjects, but tours are tailored to your interests, from flora & fauna to ironwork, local building traditions to the preservation movement, and from the literary and art scene, to movies and pop culture.
