I grew up in New York City and cannot imagine living anywhere else. I love walking around the city, visiting different neighborhoods and trying all kinds of cuisines. I would like to share my personal New York City experiences with you! My most popular tours are history and food walking tours, I also conduct art, culture and driving tours. I can customize tours based on your itinerary and preferences. Like one dog year equals seven human years, one New York City day is seven days in other cities, if not more! New York City was built by immigrants from all over the world. They brought their rich cultures here to pursue a better life for future generations. America started right here in New York City. It is a privilege being a New York City Sightseeing Guide because I always wanted to tell the stories of this magical metropolis. From the gleaming towers to hotdog stands, from austere looking business men to subway artists, from the hustle bustle midtown to serene Central Park, hop on my tour to explore this great city of New York! "London is satisfied, Paris is resigned, but New York is always hopeful. Always it believes that something good is about to come off, and it must hurry to meet it. " Your visit to this dynamic world city will not be completed without my tours, even if you live here. - Licensed New York City Sightseeing Guide - Member of Guides Association of New York City - Certificate in Food Protection New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene

Did you know that the New York Public Library Main Branch is a prime example of Gilded Age architecture, and Grand Central Terminal is widely regarded as a quintessential Gilded Age building? While almost all the interiors of the Fifth Avenue Gilded Age mansions are off-limits, this tour takes you inside these two magnificent New York City icons. We’ll also stop by the opulent J.P. Morgan House (now the Morgan Library & Museum), the grand Joseph Raphael De Lamar House (now the Polish Consulate General), and the distinctive James F.D. Lanier House (now for sale at $17.5 million). As we stroll along these institutions and mansions, feeling their awe, we’ll also sample flavors that break every old law of Gilded Age stuffiness by tasting delicious Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Thai delights, such as onigiri, kimbap, dumplings, satay, and more.
We will start our walking tour at the magnificent New York Public Library and Bryant Park. This tour will cover the following: - New York Public Library/Bryant Park/Astor Hall/Rose Main Reading Room - Grand Central Terminal/Vanderbilt Hall/Whispering Gallery - New York Architecture Walk of Fame - J. P. Morgan House - Joseph Raphael De Lamar House - James F.D. Lanier House - Original Tiffany & Co Building - Empire State Building Our tour will conclude in Koreatown. Total walking distance is about 1.2 mile and lasts up to 3 hours. You will sample some delicious Japanese, Thai, Chinese and Korean dishes that made this historic neighborhood a vibrant enclave for young Asian professionals. This tour can be curated to your dietary preferences. Please make sure to inform me at least 24 hours before the tour if you need customization. Dress according to weather, put on your walking shoes, come hungry and let's go to town!
