Hi, my name is Anne and I am an accredited green badge tourist guide for Belfast. I am a local and I am born and bred in Belfast. I studied law at Queens University Belfast and practiced as a solicitor in Belfast city centre for thirty years. I grew up in Belfast during the period of the troubles and only once I started travelling did I recognize the rather "different" upbringing and experiences of my early childhood and later working life. I have travelled widely around the world but feel Belfast is a unique and one off place for people to visit. I love art, architecture, history and story telling. I love being outdoors - probably after thirty years in an office! Belfast is a city of great variety from Victorian buildings to the modern Titanic Belfast experience. I offer city walking tours and can customise a walking tour to suit your needs. I am an accredited green badge guide for Belfast. I am a member of the Northern Ireland Tourist Guide Association. I have an LLB law degree and practised as a solicitor in Belfast City Centre for 30 years. I provide walking tours only and will suggest use of public transport if required. I can act as a step on guide if you have your own transport.

Are you visiting Belfast and simply overwhelmed by all the choice of things to see and do? Well the answer is to join me for a one hour walk to give you the orientation of the city, the history old and more recent, the quarters to visit and where the good food/restaurants, pubs and nightlife are found. I can explain to you the public bus service and how to get a taxi and if you prefer how to walk the city. You will get so much more out of your visit to Belfast if you have this information and you will see how walkable our city is. I am a local and was born and bred in Belfast and was a child growing up during the time of the Troubles so I can give you a first hand account of how life was like for anyone who lived here during that time. So please join me and have a fun and informative walk around Belfast.
