The tour concludes at the magnificent City Hall, built in 1906 to celebrate Belfast's designation as a city in 1888.
Begin the tour with a walk to the Peace Wall where we discuss the events prior to and during the 30 years of violence in our City between 1969 - 1998 and how society has been transformed since the signing of the Good Friday agreement and Power Sharing between our two communities. We return to the City centre and visit the landmarks that make up the beautiful city of today. Learn about events since 1613 when Belfast became a small town. Once the heart of the industrial revolution Belfast's shipbuilding legacy saw the creation of the Titanic, a ship that shaped Belfast’s global reputation. We learn about our Linen Industry once central to the city’s trade. Walking through cobbled streets, we connect with the city’s past and visit historic pubs adorned with murals narrating Belfast’s turbulent history and Church the were a central part of our emerging communities. The tour concludes at the majestic City Hall, symbolizing Belfast’s transformation from an industrial hub to a vibrant, modern city.
