Hello. I’m Larry, a born and bred, super proud ‘Belfastian’. I worked for 30+ years in the Banking Industry, based across different locations in Belfast City Centre, so I have plenty of stories and experiences to share. That eventful chapter of my life closed in 2018 and the wonderful world of tour-guiding became my new passion. The city has changed dramatically over those years and yet some things never change such as our warm hospitality and humor. I have always loved meeting people and hearing their stories and can’t wait to tell you about my home city and bring to life its remarkable story. Belfast is a city full of stories, fascinating characters, significant events and beautiful architecture, which are story books of the city's rich history and heritage. I have a wide variety of tours and experiences to suit all interests and can design a tour to suit you. I am immensely proud of my city and would love to share my passion, personal experiences and history of the city and country through its many highs and lows. I promise you an interesting, informative and fun-filled tour. It would be my great pleasure to guide you in the near future.

Step into the darkest era of Belfast’s bloody history known as ‘The Troubles’ - a simple non inflammatory term to describe a period that some people would call a war. It term glosses over the gravity of the conflict here. This 30 year conflict began in August 1969 and by its end over 3,700 had lost their lives. This tour explains why and where it started, why it lasted so long and the long and arduous hard won path to peace. Also how Belfast became divided physically, ideologically by 40 km of walls and steel structures know as the ‘Peace Walls’ which remain a fixture today Experience some heart-breaking stories and what life was like growing up in the dark shadow of the troubles. Visit local community memorial gardens. Feel the hope of this transformed city after leaving our troubles behind us in 1998 and how Belfast has flourished into one of the friendliest and safest capital cities in the world. The tour highlights the peace makers and the key events on the rocky road to a wonderful peace
