Hi, my name is Anne and I am an accredited green badge tourist guide for Belfast. I am a local and I am born and bred in Belfast. I studied law at Queens University Belfast and practiced as a solicitor in Belfast city centre for thirty years. I grew up in Belfast during the period of the troubles and only once I started travelling did I recognize the rather "different" upbringing and experiences of my early childhood and later working life. I have travelled widely around the world but feel Belfast is a unique and one off place for people to visit. I love art, architecture, history and story telling. I love being outdoors - probably after thirty years in an office! Belfast is a city of great variety from Victorian buildings to the modern Titanic Belfast experience. I offer city walking tours and can customise a walking tour to suit your needs. I am an accredited green badge guide for Belfast. I am a member of the Northern Ireland Tourist Guide Association. I have an LLB law degree and practised as a solicitor in Belfast City Centre for 30 years. I provide walking tours only and will suggest use of public transport if required. Come with me and spend one hour exploring the fascinating exhibits in our local museum in the University Quarter. I always think after one hour in a museum we all glaze over and are exhausted no matter how interesting it is! So join me for my one hour express visit taking you around some of the most important items in the collection and gain a better understanding of Northern Ireland and our roots and heritage. You can then enjoy the museum cafe and retrace our steps at your own leisure or go and enjoy the Botanic Gardens to include the Palm House and the Ravine and Queen's University Quad under your own steam.
