Welcome everybody to Bangkok or the Angel City of Thailand. My name is Pap but you can call me "Pap". I have lived in Bangkok since I was born so I know lots of things in Bangkok especially in the cultural things. Because I chose to study history and teaching of Social Studies as my bachelor's degree and master's degree respectively when I graduated, I have been a social studies teacher. Apart from teaching, I am also interested in traveling to explore new things such as the vision of the people, and the history or culture of that place. I always apply these things in my teaching. After I have been teaching for a while, I think my knowledge will still be useful for the traveler if I do the tour therefore I studied to get the Tour Guide license and have been a freelance tour guide until now. Because I grew up in Bangkok and also teach social studies, I specialize in the history and culture of Bangkok which is the most important city of Thailand. If you want to know about Thai people and culture, you should choose my tour. On my tour you not only know about the place you visit with me but you also understand the life of Thai people, especially our beliefs which are the core aspect of Thai Culture. If you think that Buddhism is the only belief or religion of Thai people, you may rethink again when you tour with me. Even the name of our capital city (Angel City) also relates to this. All tourist attractions I chose in my tour are unique and relate to each other. I will take you to the hidden community, get insight into the history of the community, understand their life, taste the local food, and enjoy the local life. Overview of your Bangkok tour
On this tour, I will lead you to the three famous temples of Bangkok which there are many interesting things about Thai culture and beliefs. You will know more why Thailand is called that Land of Faiths and Beliefs. Definitely Buddhism is not only one of our belief, but we still give an important to other beliefs. Surprisingly we can discover them on these temples. Besides the culture and belief from the temple, you still touch the local life of Thai people along the canal by taking long-tail boat to the old community which is hidden inside the Thonburi city; the former capital city of Thailand. Interestingly this community is famous for creating artwork. You can do the workshop such as crafting bracelet and necklace or painting if you want. As a history teacher, I'm sure you will enjoy and learn everything about the life of Thai people on my trip. Please choose to travel with me, your trip is not so boring anymore.

09. 30 Meet Up at your hotel or meeting point you are convenient 10. 00 Visit the temple of Emerald Buddha 11. 00 Visit the Grand Palace 11. 20 Walk from Tha Chang (Chang Pier) to Tha Tian 11.40 Visit Wat Pho or the temple of Reclining Buddha 12.40 Lunch time (at the area near Wat Pho) 13.40 Take a ferry boat to cross to the other side of the Chao Phraya River and visit the Temple of Dawn or Wat Arun (At this place, you can dress in Thai costume to take a photo in the temple) 14.50 Take a long-tail boat to the Artist house and Bangluang Community 15.20 Visit Bangluang Community and the Artist House 16.00-16.50 Enjoy the scenery and the life of Thonburi people along the Bangluang Canal while taking a long-tail boat (If we have time, we can visit Wat Paknam which there is the great buddha image) and return to Wat Arun 16.50-17.20 Take taxi to your hotel and end of the trip The itinerary is flexible for any changes please let me know.
