Overview of your Bangkok tour
This scenic trip takes you out of Bangkok to the Train Market, which is unlike any other market—some call it the craziest market you'll experience, and you'll see why! Then we'll head to another famous floating market at Klong Damnern Saduak in Ratchaburi province. An exciting narrow-speedboat ride through the marshes and past 'stilt' houses prepares you for this one-of-a-kind market. The traditional way of selling vegetables, fruit, and more from small rowing boats gently gliding through the canal is a fascinating sight. After sampling some local fruits and snacks, we'll take a break at a Thai restaurant before travel back to Bangkok, leaving you with a memorable experience.

Jean crafted a fantastic day that included lots of time to explore along with in-depth information about these two unique markets and their evolution to their current formats. The long-tail boat through the floating market was a wonderful experience not to be missed. A great lunch stop featuring local Thai specialties was greatly enjoyed. As a bonus we stopped at the Banyan Tree temple to experince this wonderful 12th century site encased in banyan tree roots. Jean is knowledgeable, articulate and excellent at reading the room to tailor the experience to our interests.

No trip to Bangkok is complete without experiencing the diverse market scene. The highlight for us was taking the terrific tour with Thannaphan Sungnoi (Jean). She took us to see the Maeklong Train Market and the Floating Markets and shared so much great information about the places we toured as well as Thailand history, culture and worldview. We loved every moment of this tour and would insist that anyone traveling to Thailand make time to have this experience! It was so great to be driving there in comfort with a guide who knew where to stop, where to park, and how to navigate the crowds for a better experience. We had so much fun and learned so much at the same time! If you can afford a private guide instead of a group tour, I highly recommend any tour with Jean as an enhancement to your travels!

This tour was great and Jean is the best guide we have ever had. She speaks perfect English and was a wealth of knowledge about everything we saw on the tour. She arranged for us to have a great place to watch the train come through. We learned so much and had a great time on the long tail boat tour through the floating market. You have to experience this to believe it. Everyone selling their wares was very polite and did not hassle us to buy. Afterwards, we had a great Thai lunch at a nearby restaurant.

Walk in the train market and experience train come through the market then travel to Damnernsaduak Floating market 12:00 pm. Take a long tail boat ride, experience Thai way of life along the canal & plantation into floating market, one of the most famous Thailand tourist attraction and enjoy tasting fresh tropical fruit from local venders floating in small rowing boat 01:00 pm.
