I will meet you at your hotel in the morning and together we'll plan where to go first on this special day. If it's your first time to Bangkok I would love to introduce you to some important highlights combined with the best local spots in town. Walking amongst the grandeur of the golden stupa's at the Grand Palace and to see Buddhist monks chanting at Wat Pho is what brings Buddhism to life. Smelling all the different herbs and curry pastes at the local markets will make you want to try the best Thai food around. Touching the flower garlands at the flower market will make you fall in love with our 'streetlife' culture. Tasting the sweetness of our 'mango and sticky' rice desert will make you want to come back to Thailand again. Hearing the Thai people laugh and having fun all the time will make your life happy. And taking back home only one word of Thai will make your friends at home smile and make their eyes twinkle. The tour is fully customizeable to your wishes.
Songri was the guide that we booked the tour with. Due to family matters, Songri was not able to be our guide but she took care of us by finding another guide. She communicated all this to us well in advance. Nathan was our replacement guide and he was excellent. He gave us lots of information, both historical and cultural, and planned out the trip very well so that we would not be too tired from the heat. Excellent tour and highly recommended.
Ling was wonderful. We sat down lobby for 10 minutes to explain that we had been in Bangkok and she quickly suggested some new highlights and revisit some important ones that we had visited 12 years prior. She is knowledgeable, bright, energetic, and easy to communicate with. Simply stated....she was fabulous!!
My wife and I had a great time with Ling on our tour. We started discussing options with her 10 days before ended up doing a one day tour where we went to Mae Klong Railway Market, Damnoen Saduak Market, Coconut Sugar Plantation, and Wat Pho (Relaxing Buddha). Ling provided a lot of great information at each location and even adjusted the tour as we went based on our requests! She picked us up promptly at our hotel and answered all my questions throughout the day. Highly recommend!
Ling was a great tour guide. She arrived timely and arranged a large, spacious vehicle for transportation. She communicated with us well and established a plan for the day. She explained traditions and cultural rituals. She was very informative. We enjoyed the day with her and were able to see a lot of Bangkok.
Ling was definitely one of the best tour guides we have had! We developed a tour list with of the sites and experiences we wanted to encounter in one day and she delivered. The knowledge she shared with us was superb, as if she knew the level of detail we wanted at the various sites. She accommodated any special requests we had and always had the driver available as the very hot day progressed. Her English is superb and her sense of humor is delightful.
Ling made the day for me a perfect day. She is so friendly and funny. She answered all my questions and when I had a wish, she made it come true. Best guide.

This can be a bowl of the most delicious noodle soup, a plate of rice with curry or a sumptious 3 course Thai meal at a high end restaurant with aircon. 13. 30 Embark on a longtail boat for a spectacular ride along the ancient canals of the city to see the Thai way of life. 14. 30 Visit the reclining Buddha statue at Wat Pho temple. 16. 00 Arrive back at your hotel after this amazing day!
