After graduating from university several decades ago, I didn't settle on a specific career path right away. Instead, I worked in a wide range of fields, which allowed me to build a varied background. I started as a youth camp coordinator, followed by seven years of teaching at a private school, and later took on contract roles in operations administration, office management, and academic institutions. However, in the end, none of those pursuits felt like the right fit for me. Employment at a travel agency initially seemed quite well-suited to my preferences, but I soon realized its repetitive nature restricted me to a typical desk-bound routine. This inspired me to leave the office behind to pursue a life of discovery. I am passionately drawn to city exploration, seeking out the rich diversity and energy of dynamic lifestyles including urban wandering, shopping, and wellness, alongside outdoor adventures like hiking, camping, and scuba diving. Following an intentional career shift, I transitioned into my calling as a professional tour guide.² In this role, I connect deeply with history, folklore, traditions, natural parks, and national heritage sites, as I love sharing stories that shape the country's identity. Currently, I hold a nationwide tourism license² as an independent guide and local travel specialist, which completely fulfills my true purpose. My journey as a guide begins in the heart of the country. Born, raised, and educated in Bangkok, I am proud to call this city home. I frequently take solo trips to enrich my regional expertise, exploring and revisiting hidden gems as well as renowned attractions to ensure my insights remain impeccably current. These firsthand experiences have made me thoroughly familiar with the city and its surrounding areas, whether navigating on foot or using practical modes of transport such as buses, trains, boats, taxis, or private vehicles. Beyond Bangkok, I have traversed every province in the country, occasionally volunteering for community projects, supporting disaster relief, or donating supplies to remote villages and temples. In all my travels throughout many distinct regions, I witness how they continue to reveal breathtaking wonders and enduring charm, alongside immersive activities and vibrant experiences across their contrasting landscapes.
