I have conducted scientific research in history and art history for over 20 years, and organized this kind of heritage experience since 2018. I know Switzerland and, above all, what it takes to collect relevant information from cantonal and federal archives and libraries, and connect it with actual places (streets, houses, cemeteries) and, whenever possible, living relatives. My goal is to provide the information you need to make your dream come true: reconnecting with your Swiss roots and live a unique experience in your ancestors’ land. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Research takes 1 to 3 months, sometimes longer. The price may vary depending on the number of ancestors, but research includes accurate scientific analysis and interpretation of the findings to connect the data and gain geographical and historical insight. Please contact me before booking to confirm there is enough time and the price. This is not just a tour; it is about feeling your roots and discovering what being Swiss really means.

A special experience, tailor-made to your requests. I will need the following information: - names - date of birth - place of birth in Switzerland - any other relevant information. These are the main experiences, although others can be added upon request: 1. Visiting the birthplace of your ancestors, including the streets where they were born, if this information is available. 2. Meeting your local relatives. This is a very touching experience that you will remember forever. No worries about the language barrier: I will translate for you! The research may incur additional costs and may involve several steps: 1. Obtaining the original birth certificates or other certificates of your ancestors. Up to four certificates from the same registry office are included; research involving more than one registry office and/or church records incurs additional costs. 2. Locating your relatives. 3. Organizing the tour. 4. Meeting your relatives. The services are offered throughout Switzerland.
