🌏 Welcome to Switzerland ! I am Natacha, an Italo-Swiss-Armenian archaeologist and art historian based in Bern and specialized in medieval towns, multiculturalism and travels ! I started guiding for Swiss, French and Spanish universities, museums and international congresses in 1994. After graduating in medieval art history and archaeology in Geneva, Rome, Poitiers, and Lausanne, I started guiding while looking for my first position in my field and discovered another passion: helping travelers enjoy monuments, landscapes and traditions as three-dimensional expressions of history and culture. So I became a licensed guide in Bern … and an official smile dispenser ! Since five years I apply my knowledge of medieval art and city’s topography also to modern architecture, urbanism and natural landscapes. ✨ Whether you are fascinated by history, adventure, or nature and relaxed sightseeing, I design flexible tours tailored to your pace, interests and expectations. From medieval towns, hidden monasteries and watchmaking traditions to peaceful islands and scenic helicopter flights above the Alps, every itinerary is created to offer insightful and memorable experiences. My approach goes beyond sightseeing. Together, we explore not only what we see, but also why it was made, how it worked and what it reveals about Swiss history and culture, past and present. Each tour is designed to bring to light what usually goes unnoticed and help you connect more deeply with the places you visit. 📌 Qualifications: • City Guide Certificate, Bern Tourist Office • PhD in Art History, University of Lausanne • MA in Art History, University of Poitiers • MA in Archaeology, Pontifical Institute of Christian Archaeology, Rome • MA in Humanities, University of Geneva 👉 Are you ready to uncover the Switzerland that most visitors never get to see? Pack your curiosity, I’ll take care of the rest. See you soon in Switzerland !

Bern’s quiet beauty conceals an unsuspected past. Once the most powerful city-state north of the Alps, it left its mark on history and on the city itself, where imposing landmarks and subtle details still tell a story of power, ambition, and prestige. The cathedral is the highest, largest and most beautiful Late Gothic church in Switzerland. Remarkably its portal, with more than 200 figures, survived one of the darkest periods of iconoclasm in European history. Approaching the heart of the city, Swiss precision will shape the rhythm of our tour, ensuring we arrive just in time for the hourly strike of the Zytglogge (1405), the world’s oldest astronomical clock still in operation. The Federal Palace (early 20th c.) is a giant manifesto of Swiss federal identity with a rear façade turned towards the Alps, the birthplace of the country. It is Bern’s finest Alpine panorama. Bern is the kind of city that stays with you long after you leave. Join me on this tour, and you will discover why.
