Hello dear experiencer !! "The only luggage a traveller needs is sensitivity and the ability to empathize". I always start my tours by quoting Jose Saramago, who once wrote, and I find is a beautiful way of travel, not only takes us to new destinations, it also transforms us. As a passionate lover of art, culture, and history, I have dedicated my career to designing tourism experiences that go beyond the conventional, connecting travelers with the essence of each place. It all started when I was a kid back in my hometown. Every time friends or family were visiting, I liked to wander with them through the streets and show them the wonders. It developed into a custom and eventually my career, and what I have been doing for a living for almost 20 years. I combine educational and entertaining tours, excursions, shore excursions, and customized visits, adapting to your needs and preferences. Join me on this journey and savour the taste Malaga and its province, a melting pot of cultures, religions, arts, and gastronomy that this region has inherited for three millennia and that is still very tangible. From the Phoenicians, to the Romans or the Moors, we will be able to admire outstanding landmarks. Looking forward to sharing this adventure with you soon! We've got places to be and wonders to see! Thank you! Jaime

Welcome to Malaga dear traveller, the so called sunshine city with more than 3000 hours of sun every year. A melting pot of civilizations for three millenia. During this tour we will focus on the medieval city of MALAQA, the arabic name given by the moors. Explore and discover the most fortified and impenetrable fortress at the time. A masterpiece of civil engineering that many copied. A stunning citadel heavily fortified that kept undefeated for almost eight centuries. A clear sign of the power that this city once had and how relevant its port was in Al-Andalus (Islamic Spain). You will be able to enjoy breathtaking views from different spots along the fortress and feel like an authentic Emir (governor) when walking through the royal chambers.
- We will start the tour of the Alcazaba after a walking tour of the surroundings to take a look to the main monuments in the historical quarter. - A panoramic to the new city built during the golden days of Malaga in the 19thC at Calle Larios and its fine architecture - Then continue to check on Plaza de la Constitucion, the heart of the city, - Walk a little further off the beaten path heading for the Cathedral, the Roman Theater and Plaza de la Merced right before we enter the citadel. I am always flexible, open to change the itinerary and adapt to your preferences or stop when needed, for a drink or tapa even if that is your heart desires.
