Senses of Malaga: Half-Day Shore Excursion

We had a wonderful time with Manuel in touring Malaga. He gave us a good feel for the city and gave us good advice about what activities would be more or less interesting for us as we were planning our week. We were there during Holy Week, and he gave us good insight on the activities and meaning. I had not realized how big the observations were and how Malaga was well known for these processions. He kept things interesting for our teen boys, 15 and 13. During our time, the market was closed for Semana Santa, but he gave my wife good advice on authentic gifts to bring home.

We enjoyed our time with Manuel as we leisurely walked around Malaga learning abut the history and culture of the city. He didn't waste time having us go to some touristy sites where there wasn't much to see--rather we focused on the neighbourhoods and the history. The tour ended with a stop for a drink and tapas which was enjoyed by all. I certainly would recommend Manuel, particularly if your alternative is a large group cruise ship tour.

We found Manuel to be an amazingly informative and helpful guide! He was such a very nice guy that taught us so much about the great City of Malaga, history, culture, architecture and beautiful sites throughout the city! He was very patient met all of our tour requests and was extremely helpful in providing suggestions for dining and other towns outside of the city to visit, we enjoyed all his suggestions and he was spot on! very passionate about his job and certainly a pleasure to spend a day with! We highly recommend him as a guide well worth the information he was able to provide to make your visit one to remember!
