Hello, my friends!! My name is Nadia and I am so glad that you are looking into my profile because this means that you are planning to go on vacation to one of the best cities in Spain so WELCOME TO MÁLAGA!! Although I was not born in Málaga, my heart is divided into two different cities. . . Guernica, a little village in the north of Spain, and Malaga where I have been living for 20 years. The 2 cities are on the opposite side of the map of Spain, 800 miles away from home, but I fell in love at first sight with Malaga. My Italian father was also involved in tourism and he spread his passion for travelling. I am the youngest and the only girl in a big family so I followed my father's steps and when I was in High School I already decided that I wanted to be a tour guide, that was my dream and I graduated in Tourism. As soon as I finished my degree, I started to work as a tour guide in my region, Basque Country, but I met my boyfriend and we moved to Malaga where life is much easier and the climate is nicer than in the North of Spain. I am doing in life what I have dreamed of since I was a teenager and I still love my job like the first day. During my working years in Malaga, I have learned so many things about this beautiful region full of art, culture and amazing landscape and, of course, one of my passions is food so it is a great combination of everythingI have been working as a licensed guide in Andalucia since 2013 and before that, I worked in Europe escorting cultural tours but recently, I have decided to stay and focus on my region. I consider myself a "people person" and I love being with my friends enjoying every single minute of my life together with food and drinks (my other passion). All this time living in Malaga made me realize that I want to stay here for the rest of my life. . . The city of Malaga has everything a person might need: it is not a big city but is full of life, it is one of the sunniest cities in Spain, with very good gastronomy, nice beaches and the sea. . . I love the sea and water sports and, of course, one of the most beautiful dances in the world, Flamenco. . I study flamenco as well as a hobby Together, we can taste all the wonders of Malaga's old town and enjoy the architecture and local culture interacting with locals. Or maybe visiting any of the museums like Picasso's museum. Come to Malaga and I will help you feel all this vibrant city and together we will explore and get an immersion in the Malaga culture. All my tours can be personalized according to your preferences! Andalusian local guide license number 1599 Licensed guide for Picasso Museum Malaga Licensed guide for Thyssen Museum Malaga Degree in tourism by Deusto University in Bilbao I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

When we talk about Malaga and its vibrant life, you should visit their colorful food markets where locals meet and buy the fresh food. In the morning, during the week, but not on Sundays, food markets are full of locals buying fresh fish and meat because, most of the Spaniards like cooking delicious recipes, me included!! I am a food lover!!! Our culinary is very rich in ingredients and we have influence from the different civilizations staying here. Phoenicians and the olive oil, Romans and the wine, muslims and the almonds. . The best way of knowing our specialties is visiting local markets and their local people. I can customize this tour according to your preferences.
Let me guide you to discover two different food markets Meanwhile, we will explore together what the Muslim medina was with its narrow streets *Mercado de Salamanca (cozy food market in a central neighborhood) *Mercado de Atarazanas (fabulous central market full of fruits , vegetables , fish and meat) To end the tour, together, we will take a local bus to explore the fishermen district at the end of Malaga bay where the fish is cooked in a very special and local way. We will taste our local sardines and a beer/glass of wine/soft drink or a coffee. If you want to stay a little bit longer in that area, you could take a local bus or a taxi back to the old town. Otherwise, public transportation ticket back to the old town at the end of the tour, is included.
