Mercedes was very knowledgeable and pleasant to be with. She was very considerate about my husband's ability not to walk on stairs too much. Always let us know ahead if there will be some distance to walk for us to decide to go ahead with the best route. Thx so much for a wonderful time we spent together. We loved both MLaga and Mabella.
Mercedes gave us a great tour of Mijas and Malaga, taking us to areas that the typical tour groups never really get to. Thus, we got to see very beautiful sights in Mijas while also enjoying the peace. The tour was a nice mixture of history and local flavor. Mercedes is a font of information and will speak to anything that you ask her about, either history or local issues of the day.
Mercedes was a superb guide for our visit to Malaga and Mijas. Others told us there isn't much to see in Malaga, but as a local Mercedes proved them wrong! She showed us the special panoramic views of the city and walked us along the old town streets to experience the ancient and modern gems of Malaga. Our trip to the whitewashed hilltop village of Mijas was particularly enjoyable, with Mercedes sharing her extensive knowledge of the local history and customs (including tapas and Spanish wine).
Malaga is a beautiful city with a rich history and you'll really enjoy a tour there with Mercedes. My wife and I spent the day with Mercedes during a recent cruise and and really enjoyed both Malaga and the neighboring town of Mijas. From having tapas in the local market to learning how the cathedral was never finished because of the American revolution, there's so much to enjoy and Mercedes is a great guide to share it with you.
We loved the area especially Mijas. Our only problem was that we had difficulty understanding her English. Other than that, we were pleased
