Amazing Alhambra & Granada city with an arquitect in two days!

Blanca has a deep understanding of the history of this beautiful part of Spain & a passion for it. Engaged for a 2 day tour of Granada & Alhambra. Day 1 -Albacine. As we walked the streets she talked about the various people who ruled this area at different times -- not just learning facts. She made history come alive to me. Day 2 -Alhambra. She opened up this beautiful place to me one layer at a time. She spoke about the original building of the Alhambra and its inhabitants. She talked about its partial destruction when the Royals took over as they see any value in it . Blanca has unlimited patience & designs her tours around the interests and abilities of the individuals. She even adapts for limited mobility! This might not be the lowest cost tour you can find, but I believe it has the highest value. Blanca is an exceptional guide for an superior experience.

Blanca was the consummate guide. We can't imagine having had a better introduction to Granada or a more meaningful, in-depth tour of the Alhambra. Beginning a half-day tour of the city at a spectacular overlook gave us a perspective we kept referring to the following day for a 5-hour visit to the Alhambra. Highly recommend doing both! Blanca was also generous with her restaurant and shopping suggestions.

Blanca was very informative and enthusiastic about Granada and the Alhambra. It was great taking this tour at the start of our trip to Granada because going around the Albaicin area after was much easier, since many of the winding streets became familiar. She also helped buy the Alhambra tickets which was extremely important to do ahead of time so our trip went smoothly.

Blanca is a wonderful tour guide and this was a spectacular tour. We really learned the history of the area and the sights that Blanca showed us. Blanca's lifetime connection to the area was an added bonus.

Blanca gave a very comprehensive, very organized, & interesting tour of Alahambra & surrounding sites going over its history, its people, its traditions. Very personal & charming sites. Excelent tour guide.
