Seoul Two-Day City Tour

Our family of 4 was lucky enough to spend 2 amazing days with Denny. My husband and 16 year old son had a list of things they wanted to do. We did all of it plus so much more. First day he showed us the river in the city before changing of guard ceremony at royal palace. Traditional neighborhood Bukchong, an art exhibit my 16 year old wanted to go to, multiple markets, lunch with homemade noodles and dumplings. Second day we went to Seoul tower (did not go up in tower), a shopping mall, traditional lunch and fish market (request of 16 year old). Unlike any fish market I had ever been to! When we got certain things done, Denny would give us choices and always had great suggestions. He also did a great job taking pictures of us wherever we were. Denny has his own van and navigated the city, parking and some narrow streets with ease. He exceeded all our expectations.

In two days, we saw so much! In advance of the tour, we let Denny know what we wanted to do and see generally, and he had an entire itinerary planned for us. Just a few of the highlights: we rented Hanbok and toured Gyeongbokgung Palace, went to the fish market, visited the Blue House, and walked part of the city wall. Denny took great care of us, ensuring we had water and restroom breaks whenever we needed. Day one was “grasshopper style”: see a lot and move on quickly. Day 2 was a relaxed day, during which we went fewer places, spent longer at each. Denny also has a good sense of humor and is knowledgeable about Korean history. He curated our two day tour with a clear passion for Korean culture - contemporary and past. Also, he never misses a photo opportunity.

Danny was excellent. He was very thorough and provided us detailed background and information on everything we visited in Seoul. He was timely and prompt. Highly recommend!
