Hi, I am Susan. I have been a tour guide since 2018, and before that, I have worked in the HR department since 2011 in several multi-national companies. I have B.A in TV & Films/Advertising & PR, and hold master’s degree in business administration. My dad worked in a bank, and due to his assignment, I had the privilege to live in Toronto, Canada for 3 years when I was in elementary school. I loved living there, where I naturally learned English and basic French. I always feel blessed that I am working as a tour guide. I get to meet people from various countries, have a chance to learn more about their country and culture, but most of all, I constantly learn more and more about my country. I love traveling, eating various and delicious food, and watching TV shows. I like to share what I know and like, and feel super happy when my guests like what I recommended. My daily tour will be based on walking tour. However, if you prefer a vehicle, I can have it ready with a driver with extra charge. The tours can be customized upon your request. Let’s have fun together!!

Seoul has been the capital since 1394. It has interesting stories, amazing heritage, beautiful landmarks, and dynamics. Let's have the glimpse of the highlights in Seoul. As we walk along the places, you will get to know more about Seoul, from the past to present. The places we visit are the popular places among the tourist, but also some, which I would like to take you (for example, Naksan City Wall). However, places we visit can be adjusted on your interest. If you are worried that you will walk too much, do not worry! We can take public transportations (bus/subway/taxi), or even provide vehicles on your request.
- We will start at the meeting point (Subway Line 5, Gwanghwamun Station, exit 5) - We will walk along Cheonggyecheon stream, the main water source in the Joseon Dynasty - Then we will walk along Gwanghwamun Square and learn more about the statue figures. - Explore the Gyeongbokgung Palace (closed on Tuesdays, shall be substituted with another location) - Visit the National Folk Museum, and find more details about Koreans' lives from birth to death. - Walk along the alley of Bukchon Village - Visit Jogyesa Temple, the head temple for Jogye orders, and walk along Insadong Street, a place for souvenir shopping and traditional tea tasting. - Enjoy the local specialties in Gwangjang Market (mungbean pancake, addictive gimbap, live octopus, donuts, etc.) - Take a short walk along the Naksan City Wall - We will finish in DDP(Dongdaemun Design Plaza), a new landmark of Seoul designed by Zaha Hadid. ** The itinerary can be customized upon your request.
