Hi, I am Susan. I have been a tour guide since 2018, and before that, I have worked in the HR department since 2011 in several multi-national companies. I have B.A in TV & Films/Advertising & PR, and hold master’s degree in business administration. My dad worked in a bank, and due to his assignment, I had the privilege to live in Toronto, Canada for 3 years when I was in elementary school. I loved living there, where I naturally learned English and basic French. I always feel blessed that I am working as a tour guide. I get to meet people from various countries, have a chance to learn more about their country and culture, but most of all, I constantly learn more and more about my country. I love traveling, eating various and delicious food, and watching TV shows. I like to share what I know and like, and feel super happy when my guests like what I recommended. My daily tour will be based on walking tour. However, if you prefer a vehicle, I can have it ready with a driver with extra charge. The tours can be customized upon your request. Let’s have fun together!!

Seoul has been the capital since 1394 during the Joseon Dynasty. To show the border and guard the city, we have built a city wall surrounding the capital that is 18 km long. Though some of the parts have been destroyed and disconnected for various reasons, there are still beautiful city walls where we can walk along. We will be walking along the Naksan City Wall section (about 2km long), which is the easiest walking course but with a great view. Then we will stroll around the Seongbukdong District, where you will find a secluded Buddhist temple, historic buildings, high-class mansions, and nice cafes. Places we visit can be adjusted according to your interests. If you are worried that you will walk too much, do not worry! We can take public transportation (bus/subway/taxi), or even provide vehicles on your request.
- We will start at the meeting point (Subway Line #4, Dongdaemun Station, exit 7) - We will visit the Seoul City Wall Museum (closed on Mondays) and learn more about the City Wall. - Then we will walk along the Naksan City Wall section, which is about 2 km long - We will walk or take a bus to Gilsangsa Buddhist temple, which has so many stories related to it. - Stroll around the Seongbukdong District, enjoy the view up on the Bugak mountains, and pass by beautiful mansions, embassies, and cafes. - Visit Samcheongak Restaurant, where you will find beautiful traditional Hanok houses - We will finish off in Insadong/Bukchon Village, or a place on your request ** The itinerary can be customized upon your request.
