You are the only traveler/travelers on the tour. Seoul has maintained its status as the capital for nearly 600 years since the Joseon Dynasty. The city center of Seoul presents a unique landscape where the past and the present coexist. So, this tour starts with Gyeongbokgung Palace, the royal palace of the Joseon Dynasty, and takes a look at the past of the Dynasty, and then get a glimpse of the lives of Koreans through the National Folk Museum of Korea. After that, you will visit Bukchon Village, where high-ranking officials lived in the past, and have a look at their lives, and walk the streets of Insa-dong, where you can find many antiques and things unique to Korea. We would like to have the opportunity to feel the Cheonggyecheon Stream restored in 2005 and to experience the life of ordinary people by visiting Gwangjang Traditional Market which is always crowded with travelers and locals. Join me and discover the amazing Seoul from a very local perspective, enjoy exploring a world-class city that is well worth your visit.
This is the 1st of 2 days touring with Benny. He did an excellent job taking us around all the sights, explaining the significance of each place. We enjoyed meeting him and his great sense of humor.
