Hello and welcome to South Korea! I joined ToursByLocals in 2024 and was honored with a 2026 Golden Guide Award for my DMZ tours delivering the most well-structured and immersive experiences during a single day. This is a highly selective distinction, as only about 25 winners are chosen from a global network of over 5,000 guides across 170 countries. Before becoming a tour guide, I traveled extensively around the world and within Korea. Prior to this, I spent 15 years working for multinational corporations. I also received my MS degree from a renowned university in the United States. I love not only traveling, but hiking, camping, fishing, skiing, and photography. My mission is to make the tours fun and memorable. That is why I always study different places, Korean history, and culture. It is fun for me to do so.
