ENFP -( Extrovert / iNtuition / Feeling / Perceiving ) Hello~ I'm MAERI KIM who was born & grew up in Seoul, Korea. I have lived in the Philippines for 6 years(2013-2018). While I was staying there, I was working as a private guide for Koreans. Due to the COVID, I've been back in Korea. Being a tour guide was the most suitable job ever I had, so I've got a tour guide license in Korea. I love to meet new people and love to have new experiences. I respect other cultures and love to learn about them. Family-friendly: I have 2 children - a girl who's 20 years & a boy who's 17 years. So I can handle unexpected circumstances such as baby crying, yelling, or urgent visits to the toilet. ;) And I'm living with my parents aged 70s. I can adjust the itinerary if my clients are seniors. All my tours can be customized upon request according to your group size or interests. Feel free to message me. Tourist Guide Certificate & Lisence (2016') certificated understanding K-culture Program (2023') No smoking inside the vehicle

You know that Korea is the only armistice country in the world. However, we usually forget it. The Korean War (1950-53) between the two Koreas ended in a truce. A total of 4 tunnels have been found by the army, and the third tunnel is the most popular due to its proximity to Seoul. Although the surroundings may not immediately evoke thoughts of war, a visit to the DMZ invites reflection on Korea's tumultuous past. The actual tour takes around 3 hours (the 3rd tunnel, Dora observatory, and Unification Village). After the tour, you can have lunch near DMZ, and we can visit other places depending on your interests. Craving a market experience? Munsan Traditional Market awaits. For avid shoppers, the Paju Outlet beckons with its array of offerings. Consider a visit to Heyri Art Village or Majang Suspension Bridge for a different perspective. Alternatively, unwind with a sauna experience or indulge in a rejuvenating body massage at a Jjimjilbang.
- Pick up and go to Imjingak Park in front of DMZ (1. 5 hours) The ticket booth opens at 9 a. m. However, we'd better be there before 8 a. m. to avoid being sold out. Reservations are not permitted for security reasons. I'll wait in line to buy the ticket. So you don't need to make a line. Just have some coffee or take a walk outside the building. - The 3rd tunnel: Dora Observatory - Unification Village (3 hours) We have to transfer to the designated bus while we are taking the tour; only designated vehicles can enter the military zone. - Lunch (1 hour): Depending on your appetite, I'll recommend some restaurants. *Choose 1 place you want to visit (1. 5 hours): - Munsan Market (every 4th, 9th, 14th, 19th, 24th, 29th) - Gondola to go to the Camp Grieves gallery (it's beside the DMZ ticketing booth) - Paju Premium Outlet for shopping - Majang suspension bridge - Korean Spa (Jjimjilbang) - Heyri Art Village - Any other places you want to visit near DMZ (within 25 km)
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
