Overview of your Cusco tour:

The Sacred Valley Tour is a great way to explore this archaelogical places and the sacred valley with the amazing farming fields and terraces. At Pisac on the Sacred Valley we visit the incredible ruins at the top of the hill and enjoy the magnificent views, we also visit the local market located on pisac town where we will see different handicrafts and souvenirs . Then we also visit the Inca fortress of Ollantaytambo, this impressive site has wonderful views over the Sacred Valley and on the top we find megalithic bulidings on its impressive temples. We continue the tour to the ancient town of Chinchero where we will discover the colonial church, and the local weavers. This tour will take you through the most importants archeological and natural sites where we will be able to have a great experience while we explore the different archeological sites also learning about culture, traditions and history.

Your Cusco tour itinerary

Pick you up at 7:00 and drive to the Sacred Valley. On the way, we will stop at an amazing viewpoint (taray viewpoint). From there we will have one of the nicest views of the sacred valley. Then we continue our ride to Pisac the archaeological site. We will have a nice guided tour in which we will explore all the different Inca sectors. Then we will continue the ride to Ollantaytambo fortress and explore this place where we will be amazed by the way the Incas worked the rocks and how they carved the rocks to make different water channels. Then we will go to Chinchero where we will visit the archaeological site that was the temple of the most important Inca Pachacútec. Once we finish we can visit local weaving factories led by local women. We will learn the process of knitting, dying and spinning process as our ancestors used to do all by hand and also how these ladies make textiles using the backstrap loom. We end the day in Cusco (main square or your hotel) at 17:30:-18:00.
