When I was a schoolboy I realized I really love sharing my local culture, tradition and history with others, meeting new people and making friends. I was also good at learning English. Thus, all these background made my mind up to study Tourism. In addition, I was born and raised up in a village. Then who better than me can know the local culture and history as I have grown up speaking two languages: Quechua and Spanish, the first one, is our ancestors' language (my mother language too) with about 1. 5K years of speaking widely in the Andes. I have been guiding for the last 7 years. I am so excited to be more than your Tour Guide, a friend to trust in, who can guide you through this mysterious, historical and wonderful city, showcasing you the highlighting points, touring through the places off the beaten and making your journey unforgettable as I am passionate of what I do, because 'guiding' to me is not only a job but rather, a passion to which you (your family/friends) are welcome. What makes my city and country quite interesting are all the inheritances we possess, our ancestors named as Inka's works. Such as archeological sites, terraces, trails, stonework, culture, customs, language, crops and on. Which can be visited on Day/Multi-day customizable trips. I as your Friend-Tour Guide will show and tell you the facts/history/tales behind them. Then, this city should definitely be in your bucket list. As a host of my city and country it is my duty to kindly invite you to come and visit this amazing city and make you have an unforgettable experience. Therefore, since you have many reasons to come along with me, do not hesitate, take your backpack and travel at once; as "Life is a Journey, Never Stop Doing", this is my saying. And let me be your Friend-Tour Guide and customize your trip according to your interests and expectations. Any further inquiry, feel free to reach out Can't wait to meet you! Palcoyo Mountain is known as Rainbow Mt's sister for the colors they have that are spectacular natural sedimentary formations from millions of years ago which will be our reward for being there. Unlike the Rainbow Mountain tour, the hike is shorter about 50 minutes at most, so it can be perfect if you are not used to long hikes, also we are able to see up to 3 Colored Mountains. The only difference according to travelers is just the remarkable colors and a bit higher altitude that Rainbow Mountain has than Palcoyo Mountain. We will see and appreciate the landscapes going through small towns and know a bit more about the local villagers. Also, your visit supports them positively by affording a better living condition. Rainbow Mountain: 5, 039 m. a. s. l. Palcoyo Mountain: 4, 900 m. a. s. l. NOTE: It is recommended for your last days that way you can get used to this altitude condition.
The trip starts in Cusco with the pickup from your accommodation at 5:00 pm (can also start a bit later upon your request) then we proceed to drive southwards nearly 1. 5 hours in our private transportation until Cusipata town, where we will have our breakfast. Then, after about 1. 5 more hours of driving to the start of the hike which takes about 45min, along the trail, we will have breathtaking views of the Andes, glacial peaks, colorized mountains, and many llamas and alpacas grazing anywhere. Once we reach the Palcoyo Mountain (3 mountains) we will have the time to get pictures around to then see the rocky formations (type of rocky forest) too. After that, we walked back to the trailhead and took our car to drive to the same point where we had breakfast for lunch. Finally, we arrived at Cusco around 5:00 pm. The itinerary is flexible, for any changes please let me know.
