Hello: welcome to the holy land of the Incas My name is Wilfredo, I was born in a Andean village (ancahuasi ) located 22 miles away from Cuzco city , I spend my entire childhood with my family and participated in a lot of activities of agriculture , where I was able to understand of how hard the life is in the countryside , that's way I decided to move myself to Cuzco city in order to work and study at the same time . While I was studying tourism I used to work as a porter on the Inca trail on weekends where I could learn more about the needs of the customers and dedicate my soul , time , heart and life to learn history and archaeology of my region to finally share with you. This exciting tour will take you through the most significant archeological and natural sites where we will be able ton have a great experience , basically exploring mysterious archeological sites , learning about alpcaca wool weaving and dying process and discovering ancient salt extraction techniques that is still preserved and used now by locals . *we will pick you up at 7:00am and travel to Chincheros, a small town with beautiful views of the Sacred Valley, where you will see andean catholic curch, narrow cobbled streets and people in traditional local dress, also a good place to have a demonstration of how aplaca wool is washed and dyed using native plants and minerals. *then we will continue to Moray and see the wonderful site used by the Incas for agricultural experiments, here you will learn how the inkas adapted plants at different altitudes. *After that we drive to the imppressive salt mines of Maras where you can see the pans fed by saline spring water which slowly evaporates leaving the salt behind, this mine has been used since Pre-Incan times and even now with the same system of how used to be before. *Later on we continue to the fascinating town of Ollantaytambo which is a beautiful Incan city that still conserve the traditional Incan urban sector of narrow streets and stream in between. *once the tour is done we will be back to cusco
