The best tour guide we had during our month long trip to Peru. Fredy was a pleasure to deal with and our day went without any hiccups. Not only did we get to the top to view Rainbow Mountain, we learned about Perú (past and present) along the way. Definitely recommend Fredy as a guide and wish we had time to book another tour with him.
Fredy was a great guide for our tour up to the top of Rainbow Mountain. He and the driver picked us up early so we could beat the crowds. I mentioned that we likely wouldn’t be hungry for breakfast so early so he and the driver skipped the stop (and their breakfast) so we could get there quicker. Fredy was very good with my kids. He helped negotiate horses to help them up the trail, encouraged them when they were feeling tired during the final hike and was ready to give them oxygen to help them feel better (which they didn’t need to use thankfully). Fredy knew great spots for pictures and took all we needed. I would recommend Fredy for any tours out of Cusco.
Fredy created a wonderful experience for me. He agreed to take me as a solo traveler to Palcoyo Mountain and we had a wonderful day. The driver was on time at 4:30am and we were able to get to Palcoyo when almost no one else was there. It was a delightful day and I highly recommend Fredy as he is very knowledgeable.
Fredy led a fantastic tour to Palccoya instead of Vinicunca at our request. We were the second couple on the trail, and it was great. He provided context for where we were relative to other places in Peru and South America. He gave us plenty of time to adjust to the altitude, to take pictures, and to absorb the atmosphere. He also had a surprise for us near the peak. We had a great experience, and I cannot recommend him enough.
Fantastic energetic guide, we loved every moment and he took us to a great restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Waking up very early was well worth getting there before the crowds.
Fredy was an excellent tour guide. We were picked up from our hotel on time and the transportation vehicle was very comfortable, his driver was beyond excellent in that winding road. Fredy walked at our pace a lot slower than his, but he catered to us in every way possible way he could. I would definitely recommend his service for his friendly professional manner. The rainbow maintain is a bit strenuous in certain areas but definitely worth seeing.
I will go to pick you up at your hotel, we will start our tour by driving all the way to the south of Cusco, after about 1. 5 hours following the asphalt road, and then 1 hour following a road until we get to the head trail. we will get great views of the valleys, small villages, local people, alpacas and llamas on the Way. From this point at 4570m, we will start our walk with a small and gentle walk, them We will start walking up for about 1hour, great time to enjoy the majesty of the mountain, finally the big uphill in front of us, the ascend will take us about 40 minutes at a slow pace, finally We will get the best and unique views, of the Rainbow Mountain. them we continue a walk for 30 minutes to the Red valley Mirador, at this spot we will have the most spectacular views in the Andes. After we enjoyed the view of the Rainbow Mountain, We will walk down back to the trailhead and take the car back to Cusco. On the way back we stop for our amazing and organic Lunch in a very exclusive restaurant.
