Hello everyone! My name is Adriel and I was born in the Incan village of Ollantaytambo, in the sacred valley of the Incas, where I attended elementary school. Afterwards, my parents gave me the opportunity to continue my education in Lima where I went to College to study English become a graduate Tour Guide. Then, after several years, I returned to Cusco where I am currently living with my family. I have been working for 27 years as an adventure guide as well as a natural tourism guide in the Tambopata Reserve zone in Puerto Maldonado and in Manu National Park, where I initially used to worked as a volunteer ranger. My main goal in offering my guide services is to share my experience and knowledge with you, so hopefully you're more than satisfied and want to recommend others to visit this region, such as friends or relatives who might plan on travelling to Peru. My biggest wish is that through tourism, more work opportunities may be generated for our Peruvian people. I am proud of being Andean, and as an ambassador of my culture, I do everything I can in my work to support local communities while providing my dear guests a quality service, ensuring that everyone remembers their visit to Peru with delight.

This tour is an ideal introduction to Cusco, as most visitors to the city rush through in preparation for their onward journey to Machu Picchu. However, Cusco truly does merit more of your attention. Allow me to share Cusco's most breathtaking views and its most significant archaeological sites with you. I'll take you to Sacsayhuaman, a ceremonial fortress and symbol of Inca engineering famous for its massive stones fitted without mortar, built by the Inca Governor Pachacutec in the 15th century. Though many of its stones were reused in Cusco, much of the original structure remains. Another ancient engineering gem and religious site we'll visit is Tambomachay, also referred to as the "Inca Baths" which display an advanced hydraulic system. Among the temples we'll visit is Qengo which is also an amphitheatre with underground labyrinths that was used for ceremonies and sacrifices. We'll also visit a unique farm where you'll learn about alpaca, including baby alpaca & vicuña wool.
-After picking you up, we'll head to the Royal House of the Sun (Sacsayhuaman), the site where the Manco Inca’s rebellion against the Spanish took place in 1536 and which still hosts the Inti Raymi religious celebration every year. -Next, we'll visit another religious site, Qengo, the Temple of the Mother Earth. -Later, we'll visit Puka Pukara, a reddish “Inca watchtower” with panoramic views which was once a military control point. -Afterwards, we'll visit the Tambomachay, the Temple of the Water, before heading out to a farm. -On arrival, we'll do a guided visit to the farm where you'll have the chance to take beautiful pictures with llamas and alpacas. -We'll finish our tour visiting Qorikancha, the most important Inca temple which was later fused with colonial architecture. -At last, I'll drop you off at an agreed spot. *You should bring warm clothes, a rain jacket & sun block. The weather in the Andes is highly unpredictable, so it is important to be prepared for all conditions.
