Hello everyone! My name is Adriel and I was born in the Incan village of Ollantaytambo, in the sacred valley of the Incas, where I attended elementary school. Afterwards, my parents gave me the opportunity to continue my education in Lima where I went to College to study English become a graduate Tour Guide. Then, after several years, I returned to Cusco where I am currently living with my family. I have been working for 27 years as an adventure guide as well as a natural tourism guide in the Tambopata Reserve zone in Puerto Maldonado and in Manu National Park, where I initially used to worked as a volunteer ranger. My main goal in offering my guide services is to share my experience and knowledge with you, so hopefully you're more than satisfied and want to recommend others to visit this region, such as friends or relatives who might plan on travelling to Peru. My biggest wish is that through tourism, more work opportunities may be generated for our Peruvian people. I am proud of being Andean, and as an ambassador of my culture, I do everything I can in my work to support local communities while providing my dear guests a quality service, ensuring that everyone remembers their visit to Peru with delight.

Experience the thrill of hiking along an original Inca trail to the legendary Inti Punku (Sun Gate), starting from the historic Inca town of Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley. This unique hike allows you to cross one of the last remaining original Inca bridges and explore the famous Cachiccata Stone Quarries, where massive stones were carved and transported to build Ollantaytambo. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Sacred Valley, the town of Ollantaytambo, and the snow-capped Veronica Mountain.
We pick you up from your hotel at 6:00 am and travel through the Sacred Valley to Ollantaytambo. The hike begins by crossing an original Inca bridge, followed by an ascent along a well-preserved Inca trail that winds through archaeological sites, agricultural terraces, and stunning Andean landscapes. During the hike, we visit the Cachiccata Stone Quarries, where enormous stones were left unfinished after the arrival of the Spanish. After approximately three hours of uphill hiking, we reach Inti Punku (the Sun Gate), located high above the Sacred Valley. From here, enjoy spectacular views of the Urubamba River, the surrounding mountains, and the town of Ollantaytambo below. You will learn about the historical and spiritual significance of this important ceremonial site. Afterwards, you can enjoy a delicious box lunch at the mountaintop. Then, we descend to the Cachiccata community, from where we return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 6:00 pm.
