Explore the rural ambience and try the most delicious olive oil you can imagine! This time I am taking you to the Lustica Peninsula, away from the hustle and bustle, where I will introduce you to the true rural life of this part of the Mediterranean. Hanging around with Miska and Ruska, our donkey friends, who keep the olive grove and its secrets, tasting local pastries and brandies in the shade of olive trees; walking through the village while listening to interesting stories of our host, will be a real pleasure. Have you ever been introduced to the production of olive oil in a traditional and modern way? This is the right opportunity for you, with which you will be able to taste the finest olive oil that our dear Moric family diligently produces with a lot of love and attention. In the 300 years old mill house, we will try some more homemade specialties, pomegranate juice, wine, as well as desserts with traditional coffee. Delicious! At the end, we'll explore Kotor and its beauty!
My family and I had a wonderful time with Ana. She was knowledgeable, professional , funny and a great all around guide. We never felt rushed during the tour, very relaxed. Ana was on time, waiting for us at the meeting point and had us back in time for the ship leaving. Would highly recommended Ana to be your guide. And the donkeys and olives tours was an off the beaten path tour we decided to do, and we are glad we did. It was fun!!!
Ana was great. This tour was a great mix of things - sightseeing, local food and culture, and a bit of time for shopping. Our tour was slightly customized as we wanted to add an extra stop and Ana was very accommodating, recommending a tour of another city while we were there. It was all wonderful. We enjoyed walking through towns, learning history. The olive mill and our time there was perfect - delicious food, great wine, amazing atmosphere and the family behind it all. Everything was wonderful!
We did a private tour with Ana and could not have been a better tour. She was able to connect us with so much history of the area as her Family has been here for hundreds of years. Her perspectives growing up through both the Yugoslav time and the Wars of the 90's is so Interesting to Americans with very white washed POV. All our vehicles are licensed for tourism purposes which means they are new, in excellent condition, and of course air-conditioned and comfortable. Depending on your group size, we will use either a standard car, or Mercedes Vito Van. The tours are set for a maximum of 4 people by default in order to maximize our space and comfort in the vehicles, but I can accommodate larger groups as well. Please contact me for the details.
