Hello! My name is Filip. My hometown is Kotor, an absolute gem surrounded by mountains and hidden deep into the Bay of Kotor, one of the most beautiful fjords in the world, which is protected by UNESCO. I am a native of Kotor and Montenegro, and my family is local here for centuries, during all good and bad times we were here (I will tell you some local stories that I learned from my grandparents if and when we meet). I was raised learning local customs, local slang, culture, even how to make local food and drinks. Let me tell you a bit about my professional development. All my life I am so eager and enthusiastic to learn and improve in foreign languages and meet people from all over the world. After getting a Business English degree from the university, I was doing different jobs related to my profession, but honestly none of those jobs allowed me to show my full potential. Then, slowly I started working jobs related to tourism, like being museum guide (docent) at Roman Mosaics in Risan and later on the island of Our Lady of the Rocks in Perast. I liked those jobs, but I wanted to go even further. So, shortly after that I became a licensed tour guide for Montenegro, and since then, I completely fell in love with being a tour guide and meeting people from all over the world and showing them all of the beautiful places we have here. First of all, I really like my country, I admire all of the places every single day, and that's the main reason why I do every single tour with the same passion and enthusiasm as if it was the first one ever. I am into this business 24/7 and I am so eager to develop even further my guiding services. Being born and raised local in Kotor and Montenegro, I am very familiar with places and activities in Kotor and all over Montenegro . Being part of our tours you will have opportunity to see places from different and unusual angles and viewpoints, honest take on life of locals in general, and I will give you professional explanation of every spot that we visit from local born and raised individual prospective. During our tours, I really try to make the best of your stay in my area, and since I am very relaxed and friendly I even made a lot of friends doing these kind of tours. I am very punctual, flexible and adaptive, so I would like to point out that even though we offer very interesting private tours, we can always customize a tour for you, so if you have any inquiries do not hesitate to contact me. As well, after the tour, I would be glad to help you with anything you need, like restaurant recommendation, pharmacy or just help you with directions. It will be my pleasure to keep in touch with you and be your tour guide! - Official Tour Guide License for Montenegro, Ministry of Tourism, Montenegro - Specialization Degree (Spec. Sci) of Business English, Mediterranean University, Montenegro - Driving license None.

The places we will visit are the reason why Kotor Bay is UNESCO protected! As a local, I keep admiring Perast town, with 300 inhabitants and 22 churches. Wherever you turn, there is a Venetian Baroque palace that gives special charm to the town. "The Pearl of Perast", Our Lady of the Rocks, is a man-made islet built on top of the reef. In it's church and treasury, culture and history of the area are kept. Kotor Old Town add up to Venetian ambient as well, and it will seem we used a time machine, and we are back to medieval times. To mix it up, there is Risan, 10 minutes away from Perast but completely different (it was part of Turkish Empire, not Venice). It is known as "sunken town" since at the bottom of nowadays sea used to be town. Roman Mosaics museum bring us back to II c AD roman villa with unique presentation in the world of god Hypnos! Kotor Bay viewpoint photo will be a perfect memory that will make you come back!

If you want to spend more time in the town on your own I will instruct you how to get back to the port(5-7 minutes walking from our last stop). NOTE! Airport: ,Cruise: ,ByGuide: Our port is very small, and there is only one exit from the port. I will be waiting for you just IN FRONT OF the port exit and I will be holding a sign with your name. Since the port is small, meeting should be very easy. If for whatever reason you are late, or you cannot find me there, please text me or call me on my phone number that you will get once you book a tour( I have WhastApp/Viber/Telegram, so you can reach me even by those apps).
