Overview of your Kotor tour
Let's embark on a fun, scenic speedboat ride past the palaces and hamlets that stretch along the coast of the Bay of Kotor, beautifully framed by lush Mediterranean greenery and the peaks of rugged mountains, whose reflections break in the waves we leave behind us. As we discover hidden corners of the bay, such as a Yugoslav-era submarine tunnel, lagoons, beautiful fortresses and islands on the way, we'll hit the Blue Cave and jump in its turquoise water for a nice swim! I'm sure you'll love it! To make the adventure even more enjoyable, let me reveal to you the small fishing village of Rose, recognizable by its authenticity, fresh seafood and domestic wine. Although the locals would advise you to stay until sunset and order another bottle, we'll still return to Kotor where more fun awaits us. Circling around Perast and Our Lady of the Rocks island on the way for some pictures, we'll reach Kotor and discover its incredible history!
Your Kotor tour itinerary
- Meet at the arranged location to start the tour (Port of Kotor) - Walking tour of Kotor (1. 5h) - Speed boat tour with your English speaking skipper to Perast, St George and Our Lady of the Rocks islands (photo session) for about 20 minutes. - Drive to Yugoslavian submarine tunnel (10 min) - Submarine tunnel visit (10 min) - Speed boat ride to the Blue Cave for 30 minutes. - Swim in the Blue Cave (optional) (20 min) - Speed boat ride to Rose fisherman's village, 15 minutes ride. - Leisure time in the restaurant located at the fortress (optional) (1h) - Ride back to Kotor about 45 minutes. DUE TO NEW SAFETY REGULATIONS, ENTRY INTO THE BLUE CAVE BY SPEEDBOAT IS NO LONGER PERMITTED. HOWEVER, YOUR SKIPPER CAN WAIT FOR YOU JUST OUTSIDE THE CAVE WHILE YOU SWIM INSIDE AND EXPLORE IT AT YOUR OWN PACE. The tour is available for bigger groups as well! Please contact me for a quote.
