Hello, my name is Dragan and I'm here to help you to explore and learn all about my beautiful country. I was born and raised in Kotor, the most beautiful town in the world. Every summer and holiday I went to my family home at Village Njegusi where my father is making homemade products (prosciutto, cheese, wine and brandy) and with him I learned how to prepare them. I graduated from Maritime University and I used to sail for few years, but I was separated from my family for most of the time. I always loved history and I know my country upside down so I decided to get a license for tourist guide and to help other people explore and get to know my country. I work as a guide for 5 years now and I always try to present my country as a local from personal experience. As a friendly local I can show you all hidden gems in Kotor and as a history lover I can tell you about rich history of Montenegro. I will take you to see most beautiful landscapes, amazing monuments and beautiful details which would remain unnoticed in big groups. I offer private tours up to 8 people, but I can accommodate larger groups as well. I am very flexible and adaptive and we can agree on everything if you have any special requests. Also, I will be happy to help you with restaurant recommendations or just to give you directions what to do after the tour. I hope I will get the chance to share my passion about Montenegro with you. Overview of your Kotor tour
As a history lover, I have enormous will to share my knowledge of the area with all my guests. And this is why everytime I visit Njegusi, I have the feeling of coming back home. We will travel through the famous Serpentine Road, where you will enjoy the breathtaking views of the whole bay in front of you. I'll share with you the history of the road and the places you can see from it. Njegusi is known for homemade local products so during our time here, we'll have the opportunity to taste some of which my family makes. The most famous national product of Montenegro is dried prosciutto, and my family and I produce it in the same traditional ways our ancestors did. You will have the chance to taste this unique delicacies as you learn about the local history in my family home, which is over 100 years old. As I spent most of my childhood and most of my free time in this village, I know every hidden gem of the place and I can promise you that you will be amazed with the beauties and stories of Njegusi Village.

Highly recommend this tour with Dragan P. Dragan took us, in his own car, up into the mountains to the village of Njegusi. He gave us time to get out of the car and take photos, of the valley of Kotor, on the way to his family home. Once at his home, he showed us the family smokehouse and explained the very manual process of making the prosciutto and smoked sausages. We felt very welcomed by his family. Dragan prepared two very large charcuterie boards for us to sample all the smoked meats, regional cheeses, breads, nuts and dried fruits. He even offered local wine or juice to drink. (Had we not been so eager to try the smoked meats, we may have even taken a picture of the foods). I would highly recommend Dragan and his exceptional tour! PS-all the meat is vacuum packed so that it could be packed in luggage without problem.

Dragan was a great guide and we had a great day with him! Friendly, flexible, and knowlegable. Visiting his family home and seeing first hand how their proscuitto is made, and then enjoying the homemade proscuitto, sausage and beverages was a lighlight of our whole trip. Highly Recommend!

Wonderful tour with the best tour guide! Dragan truly loves his country and is a wealth of knowledge. He was kind enough to send a family member to greet us from our ship because of traffic and from that moment on, we knew we were in good hands. He took us to his family home where we learned about prosciutto, we were served a delicious tasting of their homemade delicacies including wine and we even purchased some treats to bring home. We were on a cruise with 10 stops and this was absolutely the best!

We had an amazing tour with Dragan! The views were spectacular on the drive to/from his Proscuitto farm, and the tour was great! We learned all about how his family make Proscuitto and sampled amazing food. We highly recommend this tour for families. Dragan is so smart and knows so much about local history. Your Kotor tour itinerary
- Meeting at the arranged location to start the tour. - We will enjoy a 45 minutes transfer to Village Njegusi via old serpentine road. - After we arrive to Village Njegusi, we will enjoy a snack of national products, such as: dried prosciutto, cheese, olives, dried figs, walnuts, homemade bread, homemade wine, brandy. - Then we will enjoy a visit to the dryer, and see how this products are made. - Finally we will drive back to Kotor with a ride of around 45 minutes. - Arrival to Kotor and say goodbye. . . for now!
