We call Budva "The queen of tourism", as it is the most visited town in Montenegro. One million people visit Budva during the warm season. On our way to Budva, you will have a view of its Riviera, just as beautiful as the french riviera, for me even more. We will pass the tunnel where a scene from the movie "Casino Royale" was filmed. Budva has the old town and the new modern part with many beaches and restaurants. Before going to the old town I want to stop and show you how amazing it looks from above. Ten minutes drive from Budva is the island St. Stefan, known as "The playground of the rich and famous". A favorite holiday destination for the Jet. After the visit of Budva's Riviera a drive back to Kotor, and a walking tour of the old town which is on the UNESCO list of Natural and Cultural heritage. Many times Kotor was nominated as the best European destination. It's my honor to show you why.
Great day! Great guide… When we started our day we hit traffic so to make the most out of day the guide switched the itinerary so we could still get everything in! Cable car was really neat and taking ferry with the vehicle was also neat. Seeing the beautiful port Tivot was great and exploring Old Town. Perfect day! Only negative was construction on roads which couldn’t be avoided!
I am so thankful Billie accepted our request to pick us up from Bar and drive us to Kotor. I seriously think Kotor is one of my most favorite places ever. It was beautiful! Billie is a fantastic guide. She is so knowledgeable about her country and her pride is contagious. You can’t help falling in love with this piece of paradise after being around her. She knew the right time to be at certain places to avoid traffic. She didn’t make us feel rushed even though we were from a cruise ship and had to be back at a certain time (which she got us back in plenty of time for). We asked her about trying local drinks and food specialties and she took us to little cafes and restaurants that highlighted our trip. We very much enjoyed sharing a meal with her. She’s part of our family!

Meet at the agreed location and time. - From Kotor to St. Stefan with stops for panoramic views, takes 50 minutes driving time. - Walking tour on the surrounding grounds of Saint Stefan island. If you wish to visit the island it can be arranged ahead of time for a fee. - After St. Stefan, a ten minutes drive gets us to Budva. - Walking tour of the old town Budva where you will be fascinated with the remains of a necropolis dating to the III Century B. C and the many shops with the best collection of jewelry, souvenirs, clothing, etc. - Return to Kotor and do a walking tour of the old town Kotor, see the fortification, small squares and narrow streets that make Kotor unique.
