Charming Old Town Kotor 2 Hours Private Walking Tour

Join me to discover one of the best-preserved and most beautiful medieval fortified towns in Europe! The walls were built throughout the centuries to protect the citizens from enemies. There are three gates to enter, we will enter through the Sea gate which serves as the main door, and once inside the ramparts, you will see why the town was deemed a World Heritage Site. Kotor is my home town so I enter the old town on daily bases. I know it inside out so, I will take you to parts only a few have seen. Also, I will fill you in on all the gossip which is traditionally spoken by the water pump, Karampana. Many important buildings stand on public squares with funny names such as the Lettuce Square, Flour Square, and Milk Square. Beautiful palaces are converted into hotels, restaurants, and coffee shops. The most significant medieval monument is the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon. Looking up at its high towers with fragments of the fortified walls peaking behind them will take your breath away. Welcome to Kotor!

We will be starting at your chosen time and location. Standing in front of the old town Kotor, looking at the old stone wall going up the hill to the very top is an impressive sight even for myself who looks at it all the time. It's no wonder why it's protected by UNESCO. You will be eager to hear the interesting details in a relaxed fashion as we stroll through the narrow streets, cozy squares, by old churches, palaces, saying hello to many locals. - We will start from the main square. At your request, we can visit the cathedral St. Tryphon or/and the Maritime Museum. - I will show you some narrow streets with unusual settings, architecture, bars and shops. Anytime you wish to stop and see one of the location, you are welcome to. - Continuing the walking tour we will reach the main square once again, where the walking tour ends.
