Hello, my name is Dragan and I'm here to help you to explore and learn all about my beautiful country. I was born and raised in Kotor, the most beautiful town in the world. Every summer and holiday I went to my family home at Village Njegusi where my father is making homemade products (prosciutto, cheese, wine and brandy) and with him I learned how to prepare them. I graduated from Maritime University and I used to sail for few years, but I was separated from my family for most of the time. I always loved history and I know my country upside down so I decided to get a license for tourist guide and to help other people explore and get to know my country. I work as a guide for 5 years now and I always try to present my country as a local from personal experience. As a friendly local I can show you all hidden gems in Kotor and as a history lover I can tell you about rich history of Montenegro. I will take you to see most beautiful landscapes, amazing monuments and beautiful details which would remain unnoticed in big groups. I offer private tours up to 8 people, but I can accommodate larger groups as well. I am very flexible and adaptive and we can agree on everything if you have any special requests. Also, I will be happy to help you with restaurant recommendations or just to give you directions what to do after the tour. I hope I will get the chance to share my passion about Montenegro with you. Overview of your Kotor tour
We will travel through the famous Serpentine Road, where you will enjoy the breathtaking views of the whole bay in front of you. I'll share with you the history of the road and the places you can see from it. Njegusi is known for homemade local products so during our time here, we'll have the opportunity to taste some of which my family makes. The most famous national product of Montenegro is dried prosciutto, and my family and I produce it in the same traditional ways our ancestors did. You will have the chance to taste this unique delicacies as you learn about the local history in my family home, which is over 100 years old. When we come back to Kotor we will visit Old Town where I will show you all important landmarks and tell you all about history of this amazing town. Many invaders have come and gone and all have left their mark. That is why today this city is a perfect combination of various cultures and traditions that are woven into the everyday life of the citizens.

Dragan deserves 10 out of 5 stars for this tour. He gets 5 of 5 stars as a tour guide: he is engaging, knowledgeable, and professional as a guide, sharing his enthusiasm for both his city and the surrounding countryside. The scenery on the ride up the mountain is gorgeous and his conversation was truly enlightening about life in Kotor and Montenegro. His walking tour of old Kotor was equally enjoyable. Additionally, Dragan deserves another 5 stars as a host. In his family village, he introduced us to his other business of smoking prosciutto and then treated us to a feast: smoked meats, local cheeses, local wine and brandy, and homemade bread and cake. While we ate, he demonstrated some of the handmade family heirlooms and spoke about life in the villages. Absolutely a tour not to miss!

We had an amazing day in Montenegro thanks to Dragan. We now know a lot about this country. He took us to his family village high in the mountains (about 45 minute drive) where he stuffed up full of local specialties made by his family and their neighbors, a great experience. - Meeting at the arranged location to start the tour. - We will enjoy a 45 minutes transfer to Village Njegusi via old serpentine road. - After we arrive to Village Njegusi, we will enjoy a snack of national products, such as: dried prosciutto, cheese, olives, dried figs, walnuts, homemade bread, homemade wine, brandy. - Then we will enjoy a visit to the dryer, and see how this products are made. - Finally we will drive back to Kotor with a ride of around 45 minutes. - Arrival to Kotor and guided walking tour in Old Town Kotor, about 40 minutes All my tours are customizable, please contact me.
