Hello, my name is Dragan and I'm here to help you to explore and learn all about my beautiful country. I was born and raised in Kotor, the most beautiful town in the world. Every summer and holiday I went to my family home at Village Njegusi where my father is making homemade products (prosciutto, cheese, wine and brandy) and with him I learned how to prepare them. I graduated from Maritime University and I used to sail for few years, but I was separated from my family for most of the time. I always loved history and I know my country upside down so I decided to get a license for tourist guide and to help other people explore and get to know my country. I work as a guide for 5 years now and I always try to present my country as a local from personal experience. As a friendly local I can show you all hidden gems in Kotor and as a history lover I can tell you about rich history of Montenegro. I will take you to see most beautiful landscapes, amazing monuments and beautiful details which would remain unnoticed in big groups. I offer private tours up to 8 people, but I can accommodate larger groups as well. I am very flexible and adaptive and we can agree on everything if you have any special requests. Overview of your Kotor tour
On this tour I will show you breathtaking views, amazing nature and I will tell you about rich history of my beautiful country. First we will go up the panoramic road with 25 bends. We will make few stops for sightseeing and you will see Kotor, Tivat, Perast and open sea. When we arrive to the bottom of second highest peak of Lovcen Mountain, prepare to walk up the stairs. There are 461 steps, but on the top you will be rewarded with the best view in whole Montenegro: from the peak, on the clear day, over 60% of Montenegro can be seen. Next stop is my family home at Village Njegusi where you will taste some homemade delicacies. As I grew up in this place I have many stories to tell you and beautiful places to show you. This place has a special place in my heart because my ancestors lived here for generations. On the way back to Kotor you will be one more time amazed by the views from serpentine road before we visit amazing Old Town Kotor where you will learn all about its incredible long history.
Your Kotor tour itinerary
- Meeting at prearranged place - Transfer from Kotor up the serpentine to National Park Lovcen with stops for short history lessons and taking photos and sightseeing - about 1, 5 hour - Visit to mausoleum on the second highest peak and sightseeing - about 45 minutes - Transfer from NP Lovcen to village Njegusi - about 15 minutes - After we arrive to my house at Village Njegusi, we will enjoy a snack of national products, such as: dried prosciutto, cheese, olives, dried figs, walnuts, homemade bread, homemade wine, brandy. - Then we will enjoy a visit to the dryer, and see how this products are made. - Next we will drive back to Kotor with a ride of around 45 minutes. - The last part of the tour is 45 minutes long walking tour in Old Town Kotor where you will get familiar with rich history and enjoy walking down narrow streets and charming little squares Tour can be customized to your needs, fell free to contact me if you want to make any changes
