Your journey begins with a hands-on cooking class in a local family home, where a skilled chef will teach you to prepare traditional Montenegrin dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients. After cooking, enjoy your homemade meal in a warm, authentic setting. Next, explore Kotor's Old Town on a guided tour. Wander through its cobblestone streets, visit the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon and admire the city walls stretching over 5 km. Perfect for food and history lovers, this experience blends culinary delights with cultural exploration, offering an unforgettable taste of Kotor.
We meet in front of the Main Gate in Kotor (Sea Gate). • Explore Armory Square with the 4-century-old clock tower and Flour Square with Buca and Pima Palaces. • See the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon (1166), Kotor’s main attraction. • Visit the orthodox churches square (St. Luke, 1195, and St. Nicholas, 1540) and Cat Squares. Total time in Kotor – approx. 1 hour. • A short walk takes you to a local family home where you’ll join Susan for a 3-hour cookery course. Enjoy local wine, rakija, or homemade juice while learning to prepare 1-2 traditional Bay of Kotor dishes, including a starter, main course, and dessert. As this is the Adriatic coast, seafood is a highlight. Feel like part of the family as you cook, share stories, and savor a delicious homemade meal. After the lunch, return to your accommodation.
