Hola! My Name is Victor Rosales I am a professional certified guide by the government as a history guide and Nature guide with a specialty in ornithology and photography. I was born and raised in the area I was 16 years old when I left my home town to study in the army school and I came back 10 years after to live my dream life. I quit my carrier in the Mexican Army to change my life and work as a Scuba diving instructor and later as a History and Nature guide. My passion for nature was always something that brings me back home for example the Caribbean Sea, Coral reefs, the mayan jungle, the ancient mayan cities and the memories when I was a child, fishing, swimming, and exploring with my dad. Ten years ago I started to work full time in tourism and conservation, I created a nonprofit organization to protect sea turtles, Jaguars and Birds I feel is my responsibility to educate the community, especially the kids when I am not working in a tour, I am protecting the nature with a group of volunteers. I really believe that every business should give back something to nature! My passion for the wild life photography is something that helps me to educate people and also in the tours I offer. Being a history guide, Nature guide and a Scuba Instructor is something amazing, I absolutely love my job and I am so happy to share with others all the special experiences and uniques adventures. Each tour is tailor made to make sure every one will remember the day in Costa Maya. PADI IDC Staff Instructor, First Aid Instructor by EFR (Emergency First Response), History guide by the Federal Government Credencial Number N006614, Nature guide Credencial Number E002390. I have taken courses with the CONABIO National commission of Biodiversity with the specialty in Ornithology. Active member of the committee of restoration in corals reef by The Nature Conservancy and Mar Fund. None

How are stromatolites formed? Stromatolites are formed by primitive one-celled cyanobacteria, which are also known as blue-green algae. These deposits consist of thin, alternating dark and light layers. Stromatolites are one of the most valued ecosystems and you can found it in one of the most beautiful places in the Yucatan Peninsula, a place where pictures do not give merit to what our eyes can appreciate. Its name describes the spectrum of colors that can be seen in its beautiful crystal clear waters. With me you will experience a visual adventure that you will never forget. Pirates in Mexico? The pirates and corsairs in the Gulf of Mexico arise from the discovery of America and the subsequent boom in trade and transfer of valuable goods from the New Continent to Europe. History that will bring back the ancient mayans and pirates in the area and is even better when you learn about the nature too! The Seven colours lagoon is full of surprises!
• Leaving from Costa Maya to Bacalar will take about one hour and twenty minutes driving. • The roads are great and as soon as we get to Bacalar we use the facilities and we get into a boat to explore the lagoon for about 1. 5 hours or two hours. • After the lagoon we can visit the Fort which is a local museum now and we can learn all about the Mayans and pirates. • We finish the Bacalar experience with a local lunch in a cenote where you can try the local food. All my tours can be customized upon request
