Nainital also spelled as Naini Tal, is a popular hill station in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. Nainital is located in the Kumaon foothills of the outer Himalayas at a distance of 310 km (193 mi) from New Delhi, the capital of India. It is situated at an altitude of 2, 084 metres (6, 837 ft) above sea level and have average minimum and maxmimum temperature of 3 to 25 degree celsius (i. e 37. 4 to 77 degree fahrenheit) throughout the year. Dotted with lakes , Nainital has earned the epithet of ' Lake District ' of India . The most prominent of the lakes is Naini lake ringed by hills . Nainital has a varied topography . MTB Cycling tour to the "Vyas Valley" in Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand, India, where the Adi Kailash & OM Parvat are located is once in a lifetime experience. Adi Kailash : It is believed that there are Panch Kailash (5 Kailash) namely Kailash Mansarovar, Adi Kailash, Mani Mahesh, Kinnaur Kailash and Srikhand Mahadev Kailash. Adi Kailash, also known as Chota Kailash and Baba Kailash is the home of Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati along with their children Ganpati Ji and Kartikeya Ji.
