We visited 3 wineries with Michael, including the wine museum. This was a great introduction to Santorini wines. We especially enjoyed the trip to the Argyros winery, which is in a beautiful setting and featured some very good white wines. As we traveled between wineries, we learned about some of the cities and also received recommendations from Michael about where to visit during the rest of our trip. Overall this was a very fun outing.
Such a great tour guide!!!! We were wanting to get to experience santorini for its wine and Beauty and that's exactly what we got! Michael made sure to go out of his way to give us the best experience for us and showed us such amazing Views from the mountain tops. We can't wait to go back and we will be using Michael again.
Michael was a wonderful tour guide and he made our day very special. We toured the underground wine museum and found it to be very interesting. The wine was excellent, who would have guessed Greece had amazing wines. The dessert wines are spectacular. We then went to a very modern winery Argyros Estate, they had exquisite wines along with a wonderful charcuterie board. Michael was the perfect tour guide and very knowledgable about the history of his region.
I have had many wonderful tour guides , but Michael was definitely one of the best guides in over a decade! He is smart, charming and very knowledgeable. His English is excellent! And he was flexible as to readjusting our planned itinerary. Upon our request, Michael took us to an outstanding restaurant for an amazing lunch!

The cruise ship disembarkation in Santorini is carried out via tender boats from the ship to the cruise port, followed by a short cable car ride up to the town of Fira.
