When I hopped off of a ferry boat and onto Aegina island more than 30 years ago, I would never have believed that Aegina would become my home - even though it was love at first sight. I live on Aegina with my family and many cats and dogs. Luck and chance brought me here but I couldn't have chosen a better place to live. Aegina is a beautiful island with a fascinating history, inhabited by warm, hospitable people, surrounded by glittering clear blue sea and with deliciously healthy Greek cuisine that I'll never grow tired of. I have been living on Aegina for more than 30 years and during that time I've learnt so much of the island's history, mythology, traditions and way of life. I love introducing my guests to all of the wonders that Aegina has to offer I am not a licenced guide

Under the trees I'll tell you the fascinating history of how olive oil came to be one of the most important and healthy additions to the Mediterranean diet. We'll finish our tour off by visiting a local olive press where we'll watch as freshly picked olives are turned into nutritious, aromatic oil by state of the art machinery.
